MAGNUS EVELLE vs. QUEST: this weeks list of s*#tty bands

MUSIC and the LACK OF IMAGINATION: Hopefully, a fullfilling brand of opinionative remarks toward the latest bands.

TODAY'S MUSIC CAN TAKE IT'S COMMERCIALIZED HAND,
UNBUCKLE MY BELT, PULL OUT MY SAUSAGE, AND SHOVE IT
DOWN IT'S SOLD OUT THROAT!

BANDS TO STAY VERY, VERY FAR AWAY FROM:
1.OASIS (definitely not the Beatles)-Quest
(disappointing to music)-Magnus Evelle
2.bush (keep them in small letters)-Quest
(keep them in a box...of sh*t)-Magnus Evelle
3.MatchBox 20 (wouldn't throw to the dogs)-Quest
(Hell wouldn't take 'em)-Magnus Evelle
4.PUFF DADDY (i have to laugh)-Quest
(i have to excrete mucus)-Magnus Evelle
5.The Spice Girls (can't hear you, keep suckin')-Quest
(heard 'em, won't f*#k 'em)-Magnus Evelle

SOME BANDS TO CHECK OUT, AND OTHER PARANOIA
1.The Soft Machine
-a band that started in the 60's, and only rival to the early Pink Floyd (with Syd Barrett)
-very good psychodelic jazz. (if you do heavy drugs, than this is the band to hear!)
recommended album(s): all of them, try to get the double CD's.
2.The Minutemen
-70's punk
-D. Boon was a genius for political rock.
-very good if you do a lot of uppers.
recommended album(s): all of them, grab the albums that have four different EP's on them. It's cheaper than buying individual CD's or tapes.
3.Babyland
-industrial music for the mind.
-a great idea putting ordinary objects into musical phrasing...(phones, trashcans, metal cylinders, etc.)
-very good if you do psychedelics.
recommended album(s): I suggest, if you haven't heard Babyland, then to get "You Suck Crap".

the BASSLOBSTER
someone told this man a good thing, to create a site in which all can learn. Mr. BassLobster will teach you the tricks of the trade with his knowledge of music theory as it is applied to the bass. This is great if you need some work on slapping or techniq
